Old hardware resurrection project.  A 3D printed mask for digitizing 126 stereo slides. This was very quick and successful.  Only used $2 worth of PETG filament, a few M3 lock nuts & bolts, and two pen compression springs "borrowed" from work.

Concrete filled fishing weights. I'm not a fan of toxic lead weights that pollute our waters and oceans. PLA plastic (biodegradable) 3D printed shells, pre-mixed concrete from hardware store and 2 mm copper wire.  Easy to print and assemble.
